राष्ट्रीय शोक की इस घड़ी में हर भारतीय का कर्तव्य होना चाहिए कि हम उन चार प्रतिक्रियाओं से बचें जो पहलगाम के आतंकी हमसे चाहते होंगे:
1. दोषारोपण ना करें। यह समय शोक संतप्त परिवारों के साथ खड़े होने का है, आरोप-प्रत्यारोप और मीडिया ट्रायल का नहीं।
2. सरकार पर तुरंत बदले की कार्यवाही दिखाने का दबाव ना बनायें। सेना, सुरक्षा एजेंसियों और राजनयिकों को सही समय पर और अपने तरीके से जवाब देने का मौक़ा दीजिए।
3. विदेशी आतंकियों की दरिंदगी में कश्मीर की जनता को शामिल मत मानिए। वो भी इस घटना के शिकार हैं। हज़ारों परिवारों का रोजगार छिन गया है। उन्हें हमारी मदद चाहिए, अपनापन चाहिए।
4. इंसान की शिनाख्त उसके धर्म से ना करें। आतंकियों ने यही किया, यह मानकर कि हम सब उनकी नकल करेंगे। हिंदू मुस्लिम एकता का संकल्प लेना ही आतंकवादियों को सबसे करारा जवाब है।
