@GuatonMartini@Whimsicast SV has more depth in fun decks once you go beyond Tier1 meta picks. It also has a better selection of single prize decks. It’s also the cheapest right now. Finally, doesn’t operate on yellow borders.
@lsv I believe Ink has to be #0. Lorcana did "lands, but fixed". Basically 70% of cards are MDFCs (0.5 tier weaker than other cards), and 30% are more powerful classic MtG spells.
PTCG is closer to 5, since most deckbuilding strategies are "find a way to ramp in your >color<"
@Whimsicast Go with Urshifu Valiant.
The whole point of building gauntlets is to have fun. Fun does not come from historical accuracy, but from gameplay.
If variety/historical accuracy was the dealbreaker, classic Lugia VSTAR would've been the only choice.
@DanteOnDeck What if they sober up, give Cody the title on Friday, turn Drew into a fed up tweener, add him as rematch clause to triple threat, make him win the ME and upgrade him to a megastar?
I would be sports entertained. I would wait for that mania. I would be excited.
Mega talent do mikrofonu.
@babanasiewicz Zaryzykowałbym że Fettner wciągnąłby konkurencję dziś luzakiem. Fantastyczna forma, fantastyczne odbicie, fantastyczna technika na NH. Niewybaczalny błąd Austriaków.
@axewxoxo The worst part is that Kalos has the most „could’ve been”, „there’s more to it” areas out of all regions. This is the one region that deserves a third version, sequel, or explanation.
Z-A’s fun, but the opportunity cost is a killer factor…
@DominikFormela@Skijumpingpl DNS.
Z calym szacunkiem do Manu, glupota by bylo Krafta nie brac.
@killingkota@Whimsicast@NightFreeze9128 70 damage back then was no joke. Two shots (almost) everything in the format, and one shots were a rarity back then.
Getting yourself to same quantity of cards as Opp was a piece of cake as well. This was probably the 2nd best mon in all of HGSS, behind Donphan.
@Whimsicast Let’s look positively. I look at Worlds Decks as a Hall of Fame of cards. Thanks to that, Miraidon got into the HoF (absolutely deserved), and baby Moon got there too! Shame about everything else, but I’m happy for Don and Moon. Even in such a horrendous format.
@Whimsicast@SeagroveTCG That was my gut feeling as well, but due to subsequent Tag Teams, Sun&Moon still falls into “big basic era”. Even though SM-LOT was AMAZING, next few sets have shown that we still lived under TPCi’s Big Basic experiment :(
