@TheXclusiveAce
Ever wondered how exactly the long range rounds work for the sniper rifles in BF6? Here's a ballistic calculator I made after hours of hand testing. Please feel free to utilize as you see fit-- please just credit me. LMK if any questions

Are you able to see what the drag value is for the VSSM (Standard and Long Range Rounds)? Similarly, can you see what this might be for the upcoming HTI?
@temporyal
@temporyal Interesting... thanks for the reply!
Are there any guns with different drag values than .0035 and .002?
I've been painstakingly hand testing this stuff, but would be super grateful if you could confirm this in one fell swoop for me...
@iEdyy Here's what I have, which matches my in-game testing right now. It makes sense that they would increase the TTD of the rounds, but why only standard? And why would they increase drag? It just doesn't make sense to me so I want to do more testing.
FYI, the VSSM seems to use different drag coefficients from the other guns in the game. With standard ammo, its projectile lifetime is also 7 seconds instead of the usual 6.
This could potentially bode well for the upcoming HTI if it's intended to be "extreme long range"
@iEdyy
@iEdyy -0.0035 is giving me a max range of 605m, but from testing I am gettinfg a real max range of ~585. If you adjust the standard drag to -0.0037, it matches. Seems like a weird number though, so maybe there's some other thing I'm not considering.
@iEdyy@luklira14 Hi Edyy, thanks for using the spreadsheet. It looks like you were able to update it, but I’ve also made the changes on my end in case that’s easier to reference.
I also tested in-game to verify it's still accurate.

@TheXclusiveAce I tweeted you the link last night (pinned on my page for visibility). If easier, I just emailed it to you.
Let me know what you think! I struggled with the gravity value, so definitely room for improvement.
