@geoffHulten@greatbong The original premise is talking about two things "world fundamentally changing" and "substantial dislocation" perhaps the first one is in full effect but the second one is not yet there and he argues we might not have what it takes for it. So I don't think you can say he's wrong.
@_deepvalue_@StockSavvyShay Man, looking at the results of recent years I cannot believe people get away with this. Sometimes I think I'm just too conservative and should join the party but I haven't been able 😅
@Mr_Derivatives Dude, $BABA is a 1T dollar company, like easy 1T, the problem is the effin run is not happening just for being chinese, but if there's ever going to be trillion + companies over there, BABA has to be one for sure!
🇺🇸 U.S. national debt hits $40T. What's the secret to keeping the borrowing going?
💵 U.S. financial hegemony.
💰 Borrow new money to pay the old bills & kick the can down the road -- sounds like a perfect plan.
🌍 But what if the can hits others? And how long can it keep rolling?
@lloydjamesross@zacktanzx Agreed, the business is alright but in all these years waiting I have been waiting for the rerating and it doesn't seem to be happening. The 200 range is what I'm looking forward to to justify partially some of the waiting and get at least a modest return. We'll see!
@JohnTradesStock@commonsenseplay The dividend is the only good thing they have going for them now. If they cut it the share price is going to keep plummeting.
@joecarlsonshow You're defending this as a shareholder cause 🤑🤑🤑🤑 but as a consumer I don't think having to chase for the ideal conditions to get my goods and services is what I want. What if I'm forced to buy something in non ideal conditions? It sucks...
@JDW_Engineering@chamath Somebody finally pointed out the reality, millions of people cannot give a flying f**k whether they are under surveillance of the US or China, some people just want the cheaper service.
