A true leader is one who understands the struggles of the common person.

For the past 3-4 years, we have endured hardships due to scams, canceled exams, and growing despair. It is the youth of J&K who are bearing the brunt of this crisis, not those sitting comfortably in their chairs. The youth of J&K have suffered greatly, but it’s not just the youth—every individual in the family is affected by this. This is a system failure in J&K. First, there were scams in the exams, then the exams were scrapped. We have had to give the exams twice, and each time, we suffer.
Twenty exams were conducted in just 2-3 months, and appointment orders were issued with just a gap of 2-3 days, where one candidate got selected for 3-4 positions and then resigned shortly after for the remaining ones. This is not our fault; it is the system's fault in J&K, which issued appointment orders for lower posts first, and then for higher posts just 3-5 days later.
Deserving candidates on the waiting list are losing opportunities due to mass resignations in recent recruitment drives, which have a lifetime impact on individuals and their families. Losing such opportunities due to flaws in the system in J&K should be addressed immediately. We urge Hon'ble CM @OmarAbdullah to resolve this matter on a priority basis.

@vinkal_yac @OmarAbdullah@diprjk We urge @OmarAbdullah sir to please resolve our issue asap.
Please grant a one time exemption in the waiting list rules by considering early resignations in waiting list and save the meritorious youth of J&K.
@OmarAbdullah sir You are the one and only hope for us.

@OmarAbdullah What is the difference between bureaucratic rule and an elected government in J&K? While the youth in J&K continue to suffer due to mass #resignations in the #waitinglist, Other UTs/states like Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana, as well as the Railway Board of India, have adopted this clause, ( The Fifth Central Pay Commission, in para 17.11 of its Report,These recommendations have been adopted by DOP&T vide their OM No. 41019/18/97-Estt(B) dated 13.06.2000.),but J&K Govt has yet to follow suit.
Despite submitting all necessary proofs, J&K youth continue to suffer, facing this situation for over five months with no resolution in sight, and no one seems to listen due to the arrogant system in J&K. We request the JK Govt to resolve this issue ASAP. If the elected government fails to act, we ask, whom should we turn to for justice?

As you begin your tenure, we hope you'll prioritize the welfare of these waiting list candidates and their families. Your leadership can bring relief to those affected and provide a brighter future for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir."

Delegation of Waiting List Candidates call on Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah in Jammu, seek one-time exemption in waiting list rules to consider Resignations
Jammu, Oct 19: In a significant meeting today, a delegation of waiting list candidates met Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah at Jammu to discuss the pressing issue of the waiting list that has affected scores of families. The delegation presented their concerns regarding the impact of the waiting list on candidates and emphasized the urgent need for a one-time exemption to consider resignations.
*During the meeting, Chief Minister Abdullah assured the delegation that he would Solve this issue as soon as possible.* The discussions highlighted the challenges faced by waiting list candidates and underscored the necessity of addressing their demands to alleviate their hardships.
The delegation expressed hope that the government would take swift action to fulfill the requests and support the families awaiting consideration.
Pertinently, the waiting list Candidates across J&K are requesting the UT admin to give one time exemption in the prevalent waiting list rules in J&K so as to consider the job appointments for the posts falling vacant due to the short term resignations tendered by the selectees. Scores of posts have fallen vacant during recent recruitment drives in J&K due to the fact that the candidates selected for multiple posts often tender resignation shortly after joining so as to choose the higher posts.

It was such fun running with others. Lots of selfies & videos along the way. I even had a few requests for appointments and one or two job related problems highlighted along the way. Let’s not forget the enterprising journalists who tried to run along side in the hope of grabbing an interview 😆
@OmarAbdullah@OfficeOfLGJandK We, the JKPSI waiting list candidates, urge the government to do justice for us.We have taken the exams twice due to the SCAM and subsequent scrapping of the process. We have lost four years in this recruitment cycle.Due to mass resignations, our names on the waiting list are. 1/2
The recent mass #resignations in Jammu and Kashmir's recruitment drives have exposed serious flaws in the system. With 20 exams held in just two months, some candidates were selected for three different posts, only to resign after merely five days. This has rendered #waitinglist candidates' hard work and dedication meaningless, leaving their names on the waiting list as useless paper.
The situation is dire, and waiting list candidates are demanding justice. We have worked tirelessly day and night, only to be denied opportunities due to the system's failures. It's crucial that the government listens to the cries of these hardworking youth and their families.
