Keep UPSC, scrap redundant PSCs, one single-window exam for States, UTs and selected Union posts.

CM DK Shivakumar says his government is taking legal advice on whether the Karnataka Public Service Commission itself can be shut down

This comes as the Karnataka HC orders a court-monitored SIT probe into alleged recruitment irregularities, tracing recurring allegations at KPSC back to 1998

The current scandal includes allegations of leaked exam papers, candidates paying ₹35–80 lakh for jobs and irregularities surrounding the former KPSC chairman’s daughter’s recruitment
