MSc courses conducted in Medical Institutions including at institutions such as AIIMS JIPMER PGIMER @aiims_jodhpur are Medical Postgraduate courses and are recognized as per respective acts of the institutions including IMC Act 1956 and NMC Act 2019.

The enemies outside the MSc Medical Postgraduates community, and then the enemies within the MSc Medical Postgraduates community are desperate to lie and to prove that MSc Medical Postgraduate courses are not Medical Postgraduate courses and that they do not come under the purview of the National Medical Commission despite the fact that, the regulations clearly prescribed all the time that the qualifications must be acquired from NMC recognized Medical Institutions.

Considering each college is producing an average of 20 candidates across 5 non-clinical branches per year, 54 colleges are currently producing approximately 1080 MSc Medical Postgraduates each year.

The actual number of medical institutions that are conducting these courses may be higher than the identified number and the actual number of MSc Medical Postgraduates these institutions are producing may be higher than the estimated number. In some departments of some institutions the number of seats intake is as high as 30 per academic year including in Microbiology and Pharmacology departments which are disqualified to Zero appointments by National Medical Commission.

And many of these institutions are also offering PhD programs for MSc Medical Postgraduates while terminating their existing MSc Medical Postgraduate employees including their own alumni from the employment irrespective of the department.

MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai which conducted MSc Medical Postgraduate programs for a while has probably discontinued offering these courses now.

We appreciate the institution if the same is true about the discontinuation of the MSc Medical Postgraduate courses considering the abnormal situation the MSc Medical Postgraduates are in today.

However, it is disappointing to see that MSc Medical Postgraduates (without a PhD) find no place in their recruitment notification for medical teachers.

PS: We hope the Placement Cell of this Institution is helping MSc Medical Postgraduates by offering a free PhD program with a scholarship so as their alumni can find a place in their recruitment notifications after their PhD.

🚨 Important Update to all the Teaching Faculties in Medical Colleges

In a bid to say Good-Bye to malpractices such as Silicone fingerprint attendance marking, that encouraged Ghost faculties, National Medical Commission is all set to implement FACE based AEBAS from 1st May 2025 onwards in all Medical Colleges.

Finger authentication device to be discontinued from 1st May 2025.

All faculties will be required to install FACE based Aadhaar Authentication App on their mobile phones.
