Art Nouveau doorways are delightful.
Like this one in Brussels, designed by Ernest Delune in 1893 for the house of a famous glass maker.
And there are plenty more just like it...
The Swedish warship Vasa. It sank in 1628 less than a mile into its maiden voyage and was recovered from the sea floor after 333 years almost completely intact. It is now housed at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, it is the world's best preserved 17th century ship.
Hôtel Solvay in Brussels, Belgium isn't actually a hotel but a large privately owned Art Nouveau town house built between 1898 and 1900. It is designed by world famous architect Victor Horta.
