Today Mobix Labs announced intention to acquire Vision Aerial as part of a strategic approach to expanding its position in the global drone and aerial intelligence markets.

65 min at sea level. 45+ at elevation. Honest numbers for operators flying in different terrains. Vulcan SX, baselined at HQ in mountains of Montana, still beats the competition -- by more than 20 minutes in some cases.
Read more about all the things you can expect when you fly the Vulcan SX for the first time. Including #6, getting usable data on the way down.

If you fly any kind of vertical drone missions, you know the descent problem is a real thing. Vulcan SX has superior performance when capturing data on the ascent AND descent, reducing your mission time.

Your launch site isn't always next to your truck.
See the article linked in the comments for a full breakdown of what you can expect when taking the Vulcan SX from case-open to wheels-down.
Some of the most demanding deployments our operators run look a lot like what you see here. Getting there is only half of it, you still have a job to do once you arrive. That's the environment we build for.

Always a good day for a demo! We've been out in the field with the Vulcan SX lately, long with some of our partners like @Senteraofficial and @Fronteirprec! More demos are coming, so if you want to get eyes on it before you buy, let's talk!

Tighter rotor spacing means descending through your own turbulence. A tricopter's Y-frame spaces the rotors out enough that vertical inspections stay smooth in both directions, and the footage you collect on the way down is actually worth keeping.

Spec sheet flight time and real mission flight time are two different numbers.
Our tricopter pulls 21% cruise efficiency. A typical quad gets 6%.
On a long day, that gap is the difference between finishing the job and going back out tomorrow.
Wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the engineering team behind the Vulcan SX. A lot goes into every platform before it leaves Bozeman, and this is the group making it happen. Appreciative doesn't really cover it, but it's a start. Thank you for the work you do for us!
If you have flown industrial drone missions, you already know that flight time is not about how long the drone can fly in perfect conditions. It is about how much of your mission you can finish before you have to land.
We cover this in our latest blog: https://t.co/Cu7qf9XbKY
We design our industrial drone platforms with the payload in mind from day one, and it shows in how our aircraft perform in the field.
And when that work is LiDAR mapping, it all comes together in the point cloud. Clean data, accurate returns, a result you can rely on.
Happy Hump Day from the Vulcan SX! 🐪
If you haven't seen this thing in the air yet, you're missing out. There's something about watching it fly that just doesn't get old.
Wednesday is almost in the rearview. Go touch some grass, or better yet, go fly!

Is a quad more stable than a tricopter? Not necessarily.
More motors means more failure points. The question is not how many motors a platform has, it is what the quality is inside each motor. Read more here: https://t.co/i7lbmFEXjv

Flight time is a field variable, not a spec. Can you finish the corridor in one flight? How many re-flies does a short weather window cost you? Efficiency compounds. The purchase price comparison never shows that.
