Starmer wants 16-year-olds to vote, but not use social media. Old enough to choose the government. Too young to access the platforms where politics is debated. So where are they meant to get their information? Approved broadcasters? Government-approved content? School handouts?

This is digital ID by the back door. Children need protection online. But bad parenting is not an excuse to build a surveillance state and restrict the whole country. I can see Restore getting over 30% of the vote in makersfield and if reform stepped aside and stopped splitting the vote Restore would get well over 40% of the vote and would win comfortably so for the sake of the country reform should pull out and stand down
