Was great to attend the unveiling of a new restoration project at Rudyard Lake yesterday.

This vessel was the Captain’s launch on HMS Obdurate from 1942 to 1966, seeing action in the North Atlantic Convoys and then in the Arctic Convoys.

My girls confused faces when they heard the voiceover on the film, was priceless.

Yesterday I took a trip to Rudyard Lake in Staffordshire, with my sister. It's really only a few minute's drive from home but it's been awhile since I was last there, and yes, that' me. I used to have a lot more hair but that was before I had my cancer treatment.
