After WWII America had a more consistent value system based on Christianity and religion. There was a respect for the two parent family and for authority. After the war much of that broke down. The free sex, drug induced 1960s-70s weakened that immune system. Tradition was broken down. It's been the target of enemies - leftists, communists, secular humanists. Respect for God is being removed by our education system. Immorality is mainstreamed. Respect for the nuclear family is the target. Decline is inevitable.
