These were the words of constable working in HP Police, while he was filing my Challan for 2 offences :
1. Driving Dangerously to Rash and negligent driving
2. Disobey of Traffic Signal/Traffic Police Signal

I was going from Sissu to Atal Tunnel with my friend when this happened and somehow I believe I offended their SP sahab with my negligence(around 25th dec, 8:30pm)

I can’t prove if my driving was dangerous or not, but I definitely want to ask for proof when I disobeyed the traffic signal ?

As a responsible citizen of this country, I stopped when the traffic officials asked me to.
There was no denial or resistance from my side.

Moreover, while the constable was filing this challan secretly, he clicked the picture of my car by saying it is a “routine check” and nothing more.

This type of unprofessional and dangerous way of public dealing is not correct.
Himachal tourism is a big deal for many people and if this is the behaviour of authorities, I am afraid !!
I feel not safe.

I request @himachalpolice @hp_tourism @CMOFFICEHP @tourismgoi @SukhuSukhvinder @TTRHimachal to look into this matter and help me understand why I was punished for an offence I didn’t do.
