POLAC cadets do not start as constables.

They spend about five years at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil. School work and police training run together. They leave with a degree and a commission.

On passing out they enter the Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police II. ASP. That is the junior officer rank. Not Inspector. Not Constable.

From there the climb is the same officer ladder:

The next step is not automatic after six months the way a 2nd Lieutenant becomes a Lieutenant. In the Police, promotion after ASP is earned.

POLAC puts you on the officer road from day one of service. It does not hand you the top of the road.

🚨Facts:

Cristian Orosco was already a senior player for Fortaleza CEIF in Colombia. He stood out as a midfielder in that league and caught the eye of many scouts. He has a mature physique that is good enough for the Premier League. He is a special talent but very underrated at Manchester United.

Diego Leon was also a senior player for Cerro Porteño in Paraguay. He was an exciting talent who attracted interest from several clubs. He also has a great physique and is a real fighter on the pitch.

If we had a smart manager, he would have spotted the talent in these boys and integrated them into this struggling team of ours. You would be surprised by what they can offer. Most of the star players we see today came from similar backgrounds.

Michael Carrick should know better. Many of these youngsters could even perform better than some of our current senior players. We have always been blessed with underrated players who later became top-class. I just don't think Carrick is the kind of manager bold enough to bring these lads up to speed.
