Write as much as you can.
Write about trading.
The setup you took, the one you skipped, the one you forced.
Why you moved your stop.
What you felt right before you clicked the buttons.
Write about life.
The stuff you keep avoiding.
The decision you've been sitting on for months.
Write about anything.
Your brain is a terrible place to store thoughts. In there, everything loops.
Put it on paper and it shrinks its real size and gives you more clarity.
No amount of indicators, AI, softwares, scans can match the study of :
> Daily 4%+
> Weekly 15-20%+
Most effective way to build muscle memory of spotting winners.

I’ve been taking a ton of time off since Labor Day long weekend and spending time away from the desk.
This is likely top 5 toughest markets I’ve seen since I started nearly 12-15 years ago now.
You have to be a day trader daily and pick the right theme that is going to move and sell strength quickly to make any sort of progress.
Maybe easy for some but not for me so I’m kinda staying low, small position sizes and tracking from afar.
Hopefully things change fast but this is a bit to random and vicious for me to deploy large amounts of capital with high confidence.
$NASDAQ
All Markets work on the same principles
Consolidation - Expansion
It is important to identify both.
And after that, there are 5 types of entries for LTF Traders.
1. Anticipation of Expansion
2. During the Expansion
3. Confirmation of Expansion
4. Post-Expansion Pullback
5. HTF Pullback LTF Expansion Confirmation
6. Range play(Ping Pong)
Master 2-3 of them, and you are set.
My Favs are 2, 3, and 4.
1, 5 & 6 are also great, but it is not practically possible to master every kind of entry.
A lot of times, it is also important to understand exactly what type of entry style is working best in a market, or, more importantly, what isn't working that well, and stop doing that until the market favors that entry style again.
A simple exercise:
Open a chart and look at the last 20 daily candles.
Ask…
- are buyers becoming more aggressive?
- are sellers becoming weaker?
- is volume expanding on green days?
- is volume drying up on red days?
- how tight is price action?
Don't overcomplicate it.
You're simply trying to determine whether pressure is building or releasing.
If the market is falling, most no of times I have closed my screen & slept
To realise later that many stocks actually recovered.
Would have sold them earlier if I was in front
What is your experience?
Charts may have done to trading what AI is now doing to critical thinking.
AI can make you sound intelligent with the right prompt even when the underlying thinking isn't particularly intelligent. A chart can do something similar to a stock. Put in enough tightness, the right moving averages and trendlines on it, and even an average idea can start looking like a five-star setup.
The chart was not the idea. The chart was evidence for the idea.
I think this distinction is becoming more important for momentum traders now.
When the market is strong, there can be dozens of charts setting up. Finding them isn't difficult. The harder part is deciding which ones actually matter and which one deserves to be your biggest position. That requires understanding what is behind the chart. Is there a real catalyst? Is this a one-quarter event or the start of a bigger change? Is there a larger theme? Is the market just beginning to understand it, or is everyone already on the same side?
A chart tells you what is happening. Judgment is deciding how much it matters.
Maybe that is also why @markminervini put the chapters on catalysts and earnings before the VCP chapter in his book. The VCP helps you recognise the opportunity. Understanding the catalyst helps you decide how much it matters.
We often do the same thing with great traders. Darvas becomes boxes. Minervini becomes VCPs. We remember the visible part of their process because that is the part that can be drawn, taught and sold. The harder part, the judgment behind what they were seeing, is much more difficult to package.
And maybe that is what technology does to every skill. It doesn't necessarily remove the edge. It commoditises the visible part of it and forces the edge somewhere deeper.
AI commoditises answers. Charts commoditise pattern recognition. Scanners commoditise opportunity discovery.
But when everyone can generate answers and everyone can find opportunities, the scarce skill becomes knowing what actually matters.
This is also why I think X creates a false sense of progress for traders. You can scroll through hundreds of charts every day on your feed and feel like you are doing the work. Charts are easy content. They get attention, engagement and subscriptions, so naturally, that is what gets produced. Many traders probably follow certain FinTwits simply because they post charts every day and have effectively become a free market scanner.
There is nothing wrong with that. But finding the tenth stock that is setting up is rarely going to be the difficult part. Understanding why one of those ten deserves to be your biggest position is.
The more the tools help everyone see the same things, the more valuable it becomes to understand what everyone else is missing.
I think perfectionism destroys 99% of traders.
People become so obsessed with finding the perfect entry that they never actually enter.
All while leadership trends another +40%.
The goal isn't perfection... It's getting involved when the odds are in my favor.
Asymmetry!
Anthropic has been openly struggling to keep up with demand for a while now, throttling limits and dealing with capacity constraints.
Kimi just stopped taking new subscriptions altogether to protect the experience for existing users. Their GPUs hit the ceiling within 48 hours of the K3 launch.
Two of the biggest names in the space and both are compute constrained. Feels so early in this AI world.

Many didn’t miss the stocks. They missed the journey.
Exited early. Cut sizing. Started searching for the next multibagger every day.
The real edge isn’t stock discovery. It’s conviction, patience, and position sizing. The market rewards those who can sit, not those who constantly switch seats
Many asked me share new stocks in the middle while these r best performing stocks
EM Addition to Stocksgeeks MBI Indicator
EM has now been added to the MBI indicator.
Additionally, XP has also been added to the indicator made by @finallynitin
The Formula for EM Remains Private.
The formula for XP has been explained in the quote thread below.
Usage of both EM & XP is the same as explained in the image.
You can also backtest both EM and XP to judge how well they performed in the past.
I want to thank both @finallynitin and @EquityCraze for helping me make this indicator and for keeping up with the daily number updates.
