Free Artist “Hiphop Sangee”
The Genocidal Sri Lankan state’s security forces have arrested Eelam Tamil artist Hiphop Sangee (real name: Sangeethsan), who is based in Tamileelam (Kilinochchi), for singing songs about freedom, pain, struggles, history, identity, and resilience of our nation.
We call for the immediate release of Hiphop Sangee and for the protection of freedom of expression and artistic freedom.
We urge all Eelam Tamil artists, activists, organizations, and members of the diaspora to raise their voices in solidarity and advocate for his release. We call upon Tamils around the world to speak out against the suppression of artistic and political expression.

Tamilalayam Castrop-Rauxel (Germany) at the Family Festival in Castrop-Rauxel (100 Years of Castrop-Rauxel)
The teachers and students of the Tamil school in Castrop-Rauxel presented Tamil culture at the family festival and also highlighted who we are as a community.
Under the message “We are Eelam Tamils and we come from Tamileelam,” the history of the Eelam Tamils was presented through a timeline. This helped show that Tamil culture and the Tamil language are among the oldest in the world.
In addition, the book “Genocide Chronicle” was displayed to raise awareness about the genocide against Eelam Tamils.
Visitors were also introduced to other aspects of Tamil culture, the Tamil language, and traditional Tamil food and specialties.
We would like to sincerely thank Tamilalayam Castrop-Rauxel for taking this opportunity not only to present our culture, but also to share our history and to display our book. 🙏🏽

Tamilalayam Castrop-Rauxel auf dem Familienfest in Castrop-Rauxel (100 Jahre Castrop-Rauxel)
Die Lehrer:innen und Schüler:innen der tamilischen Schule Castrop-Rauxel haben auf dem Familienfest die tamilische Kultur vorgestellt und dabei auch den Fokus darauf gelegt, wer wir sind.
Unter dem Motto „Wir sind Eelamtamilen und kommen aus Tamileelam“ wurde die Geschichte der Eelamtamilen anhand eines Zeitstrahls dargestellt. Damit wurde verdeutlicht, dass die tamilische Kultur und Sprache zu den ältesten der Welt gehören.
Zudem wurde das Buch „Genocide Chronicle“ ausgestellt, um über den Genozid an den Eelamtamilen aufzuklären. (@30sec2remember)
Darüber hinaus wurden weitere kulturelle Besonderheiten der Tamilen, die tamilische Sprache sowie traditionelle Spezialitäten vorgestellt.
Wir bedanken uns herzlich beim Tamilalayam Castrop-Rauxel dafür, dass ihr die Gelegenheit genutzt habt, nicht nur unsere Kultur vorzustellen, sondern auch unsere Geschichte sichtbar zu machen und unser Buch auszustellen. 🙏🏽

“Principled Alignment Over Performative Politics:
Why Voice of Global Tamil Rights (உலகத்தமிழர் உரிமைக்குரல்) Stands with Naam Tamilar Katchi(NTK)” - Tamil Nadu Political Landscape and the Question of Bi-Partisanship
Tamil Nadu’s political landscape is currently fragmented into three distinct political blocs. Our position on each is as follows, grounded in principles of accountability and justice:
(A) DMK / Congress / TVK Alliance
The DMK and Congress parties bear direct and documented responsibility for complicity in the Tamil Genocide through acts of aiding and abetting, including the deployment of Indian military forces in direct combat operations against the liberation movement. Following the events of 2009, both parties pursued economic engagement with the Sri Lankan state, with Tamil Nadu politicians conducting visits to meet Rajapaksa — the architect of genocide — for political optics, without any substantive commitment to Tamileelam justice or accountability.
We categorically cannot extend organizational support to this alliance absent a formal acknowledgment of, and apology for, their role in the Tamil Genocide, and absent genuine, measurable actions in support of Tamileelam’s liberation and the pursuit of justice.
(B) ADMK – BJP Alliance
The current BJP-led government is engaged in a systematic and deliberate campaign of colonization in Tamileelam. This includes the imposition of Sanskrit, the aggressive promotion of Indian state interests through embassy activities, the extraction of natural resources, the depletion of fishing territories belonging to Eelam Tamils, the advancement of Hindutva ideology within Tamileelam, and the strategic weakening of the Eelam Tamil population for use as a geopolitical instrument.
Moreover, the Indian government has consistently supported the Sri Lankan state at critical junctures — including during the COVID-19 pandemic, periods of economic crisis, and natural disasters — thereby reinforcing a structural genocide. We cannot, in good conscience or political integrity, extend support to this alliance.
(C) NTK
The NTK has demonstrated a principled and consistent stance in affirming Tamil/ Tamileelam identity, amplifying awareness of the genocide, and expressing solidarity with the armed resistance — at a time when the Indian state continues to criminalize and misrepresent our liberation struggle as terrorism. The NTK has taken concrete action, including banning anti-Eelam Tamil media productions(movies), and has built meaningful coalitions with Tamil Nadu nationalist movements and civil society actors. The NTK also actively advocates for Tamil Nadu’s sovereign rights and resources.
On the Question of Bi-Partisanship
Had Tamil Nadu adopted a genuinely bi-partisan position — one that equally supported the liberation movement rather than legitimizing Sri Lanka’s paramilitary proxies operating under the guise of Tamil liberation — our armed resistance would not have been subjected to the systematic suppression it faced.
Bi-partisanship, as a political principle, is applicable only under specific conditions: where a state is not complicit in genocide; where it has not aided or abetted the Sri Lankan state; where it has not criminalized our struggle or proscribed our armed resistance; and where it formally recognizes the Tamil people’s right to self-determination and sovereignty. Under such conditions, we are prepared to engage with any political party across the spectrum, as neither side would bear the taint of complicity in a protracted genocide.
In the case of India and Tamil Nadu, the political parties across the spectrum remain deeply complicit. Their occasional rhetorical gestures of solidarity are precisely that — rhetorical. They serve as political instruments to provoke emotional responses and generate social media engagement, with no substantive long-term commitment to our cause. We term this “dopamine politics” - performative solidarity designed to elicit reactions,

தமிழீழ - தமிழக உறவுகளுக்கிடையில் பிளவுகளை உண்டாக்கும் வசவாளர்களை அடியோடு அகற்றுவதற்கு ஒன்றிணையுமாறு உலகத்தமிழர்களை வேண்டுகிறோம்.
திமுக, கொங்கிரசு கூட்டணியின் சதி உள்ளடங்கலான உலக நாடுகளின் வலைப்பின்னல் ஆதரவுடன், 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழீழத்தில் சிறிலங்கா அரசினால் நடாத்தப்பெற்ற தமிழினப் படுகொலையானது உலகத்தமிழர்களின் அச்சாணியை உடைத்துவிட்டதென்றே கூறலாம். அதன்பின்னர் தமிழீழத் தமிழர்களும், தமிழகத் தமிழர்களும் உளவியற் பலத்தை முழுதாக இழந்து நின்றனர்.
தேசியத்தலைவரின் அழைப்பையேற்றுத் தமிழீழம் வந்துசென்ற பல தலைவர்களுள், திரு.சீமான் அவர்களது முயற்சியினால் "நாம் தமிழர்" எனும் இயக்கம் உருவாக்கம்பெற்று, பின்னாளில் அது கட்சியாகக் கிளை பரப்பியது. "எங்கள் திருநாட்டில் எங்கள் நல் ஆட்சியே" எனும் கோட்டொலியோடு, எள்ளளவும் விட்டுக்கொடுப்பின்றியும், தேசியத்தலைவர் பிரபாகரன் அவர்களை முழுமுதல் அடையாளமாகக்கொண்டும், எவருடனும் கூட்டணி இன்றியும் தனித்த அடையாளம் பெற்ற கட்சியாக நாம்தமிழர் கட்சி தேர்தல்களைச் சந்திக்கத்தொடங்கியது.
சமவேளையில்; நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் தலைமை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு.சீமான் அவர்கள் மீதும் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி மீதும் தமிழின எதிரிகள் அவதூறுகளைப் பரப்பத் தொடங்கினர். தமிழகத்திலிருந்த மாற்றுக்கட்சிகளும், புலம்பெயர்ந்து வாழும் சில தமிழர்களுமே தொடக்கத்தில் இந்த இழிசெயலைச் செய்தனர்.
நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் வளர்ச்சியும், தலைமை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு சீமான் அவர்களது மேடைப்பேச்சுகளும், தமிழீழ மாவீரர்களுக்கு முதன்மை தந்து வணங்கும் செயற்பாடுகளும் தமிழின எதிரிகளுக்கு அச்சமூட்டின. எவ்வகையிலாயினும் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியை அழித்துவிடவேண்டுமென்ற எண்ணத்துடன் உலகெங்கிலுமிருந்து பலர் இயங்கத்தொடங்கினர். குறிப்பாக; கடந்த 2026 சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தலுக்குப் பின்னர்; நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியை இல்லாதொழிக்கும் செயற்பாடுகளும் வசைச் சொல்லாடல்களும் அதிகரித்திருப்பதை அவதானிக்கிறோம்.
தமிழீழத் தேசியத் தலைவரையும் மாவீரர்களையும் நெஞ்சிலேந்தியபடி , தமிழின அழிப்பிற்கெதிராகவும் உலக மயமாக்கலுக்கு எதிராகவும் நின்றியங்கும் ஒரேயொரு பெரும் கட்சியாக நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி மட்டுமே இன்று இயங்கிவருகிறது. நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியானது வாக்கு எண்ணிக்கையில் பின்னடைவைச் சந்தித்ததை , இலட்சியத்திலும் கொள்கையிலும் தோற்றுப்போய்விட்டதாகப் பொருள்கொள்ளக்கூடாது. தமிழகத் தேர்தலில் மக்களிடம் வாக்குகளைக் காசுகொடுத்து வாங்கவியலும். ஆனால் கொள்கையும் இலட்சிய உறுதியும் அவ்வாறல்ல; அவை தமிழர்களது மரபணுவிலிருந்தே தொடர்பவை ஆகும்.
நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் தலைமை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளரான திரு.சீமான் அவர்கள், புலம்பெயர்ந்து வாழும் தமிழர்களிடமிருந்து திரள்நிதி பெறுகிறார் என அவதூறுக்கூட்டங்கள் பரப்பும் குற்றச்சாட்டென்பது, ஒருவிதத்தில் சீமான் அவர்களது நேர்மைக்கு ஓர் எடுத்துக்காட்டாகவே வெளிப்படுகிறது . தமிழகத்தில் எத்தனையோ அரசியற்கட்சிகளிடமிருந்தும், அந்நிய முதலீட்டுத் தொழில் நிறுவனங்களிடமிருந்தும் கோடிக்கணக்கில் அவரால் நிதி பெறக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பிருந்தும் அவற்றையெல்லாம் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டு, தன் சொந்த மக்களிடமிருந்து கிடைக்கும் சொற்ப நிதியை வைத்துத் தனது அரசியற்பாதையைக் கட்டியெழுப்புவதென்பது உண்மையில் அசுர மனபலம் கொண்ட ஒருவராலேயே இயலும்.
அவ்வாறே, தவிபு கள் மீதான தடைக்குப் பின்னதாகவும், தேசியத்தலைவரையும் மாவீரர்களையும் நேசித்தபடியும், "தலைவர் பிரபாகரன் வாழ்க" என முழக்கமிட்டுக்கொண்டும், தமிழினப்படுகொலையை முரசறைந்தபடியும் அவர் வழிநடாத்துகின்ற அந்த மக்கள்திரள் என்றென்றும் தமிழ்த்தேசிய எழுச்சியின் அடையாளமே என்பதையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.
உளச்சுத்தியுடனும், நேர்மையான அணுகுமுறையுடனும் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியை நோக்குபவர்கள், நேர்மையான விமர்சனங்களைக் கூறுவார்களேயன்றி, ஒருபோதும் கட்சியின் இயங்குநிலைமீது அவதூறு பரப்பும் செயலைச் செய்யார். ஆனால், தமிழர்களாக இருந்தபடியே கவர்ச்சிக்கும் முறையற்ற வெற்றிகளுக்கும் பின்னால் ஓடுபவர்களும், தமிழின எதிரிகளின் அடிமைகளாக வாழும் நபர்கள் சிலருமாக , தமிழினத்தின் பலம் மேலெழும்போதெல்லாம் அதற்கெதிராகக் கூக்குரலிட்டு அவதூறுகளை வீசும் நடைமுறையைத் தொழிலாகக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். இது காலம் காலமாக தமிழினத்தில் விளையும் ஓர் கேடு.
தேசியத்தலைவர் பிரபாகரன் அவர்களைத் தமிழினத்தின் தலைவராக உளமார ஏற்று, அவ்வழியில் இயங்கிவருபவர்கள் அனைவருமாக ஒன்றிணைந்து நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி மீதான அவதூறுகளை இல்லாதொழிக்க ஒன்றிணையுமாறு அன்புடன் வேண்டுகிறோம். அவ்வாறே தமிழினத்தின் ஒற்றுமைக்குக் கேடு விளைவிக்கும் நபர்களின் உரையாடல்கள், அவதூறுக் காணொளிகள், அவ்வாறான காட்சிகளைப் பரப்பும் ஊடகங்கள் மற்றும் இணையங்களைத் தவிர்ப்பதோடு மேற்குறித்த நபர்கள்
