( Nuance addition : Rise was very good and it didn't have many of the classic telltale signs of RE engine games. So this could mean that this is just a case of game direction at large across capcom focusing on the "realism aesthetic" to the detriment of many games )

As it turns out the engine made specifically for a game series with a slower pace, realistic art style, and horror emphasis is a bad fit for frenetic action games, monster hunting games, fighting games, open world rpg's, list continues.
