So effective tax rate goes from like 10 to 11%

If you make 50k and you're taxed 2k then you make 80k you're taxed like 6k. You're still making close to 25k more than before.

It's the middle class and poor people who make the things for the rich to splurge on. Those workers gotta eat also.
