@ouiouicwoissan I think it's more likely that Shao Kahn actually loves Kitana. He tells her "You don't have to die" during the final battle. If you've ever seen TMNT 2012, it's the same relationship, Shredder kidnaps Karai as a baby and even after she switches sides he still loves her.
@DaveSavage1982 If this means Liu Kang gets a full length non interrupted fight against Shang Tsung that'd be perfect, Shang Tsung has gone two movies and his only fight was a 30 second ambush, he NEEDS a real fight and we need Liu Kang to face Shang Tsung.
In light of recent events, I decided to go back to my roots and make one of my infamous character/stage polls, this time for Eyes of Heaven R. Fill it in and share it if you can, I'll figure out a closing date later.

@ouiouicwoissan I think it would've been cooler if the scene took place in the 1500s, that way Hanzo would've been a champion of Earth alongside the Great Kung Lao, and they could say the reason TGKL died was because Outworld killed all his teammates before the tournament leaving him all alone.
@CavernaDeHuesos@reezes_pieces@ouiouicwoissan Maybe in netherrealm? But his grudge would never be as personal as it is with Sub-Zero in the movie or with Quan Chi in the games. It's simply not possible to tell that story anymore unless they retconned the first movie again. Arcanas are one thing, backstory is different.
@CavernaDeHuesos@reezes_pieces@ouiouicwoissan Bi-Han remembers the dagger when Cole pulls it out (Calls it "The Blade of Hanzo"). Also Scorpion literally says "Remember this face?" And if Bi-Han said no then that just ends the fight because Hanzo exists only for revenge and he got summoned for nothing.
@CavernaDeHuesos@reezes_pieces@ouiouicwoissan No, it 100% was Bi-Han and he loved every second of it. Joe Taslim mentioned that the reason he smiled when Satoshi reaches out his hand is because it reminded Bi-Han of Kuai Liang. Also, if it was Quan Chi in disguise, the final battle of MK2021 wouldn't make any sense because
@sinnborn I don't think anyone will really care, I could see Kano or Johnny making a joke about how they look similar and then it quickly gets brushed off. RDJ is going to be Doom even though he already did Tony, I don't think it matters that much.
