Die as Heroes will ship with a MASSIVE manual. Mostly so you can have an offline reference to look at in case anything at all is confusing with the content creation tools.
One of the reasons this is cool is that you can reference it while you are still in the game making things + its going to look VERY cool and probably fun all on its own to dig through. :)
In case you somehow haven't heard of this project before - you can wishlist it here!
My hope is there will be a physical edition at some point that unlocks the steam game that harkens back to the big box PC game days. (Time will tell)

Ahhhhh FFS, kiddo blew the circuit breaker and bjorked my HDD farm. Hard drive that had a few prototypes on it is toast.
So much for that surge protector I guess.
I mean it is what it is. Pops was a hardcore military man, retired from Airforce, then went into Army and retired again. In those days being gay wasn't allowed, so got married and had a ton of kids. I got 4 little bros out of it who are awesome, cant complain. Needless to say once we were all adults parents went separate ways. Mom with HS sweetheart now and Dad living his super fabulous retired life in Florida.
Runescape: Dragonwilds is a wonderful fantasy exporation survival game. If you like the genre totally check it out. Does some fun stuff. Particularly love the base raids by warbands and dragon attacks.
- with an awful camera with zero options to customize it. This is woefully painful when going in and out of the structures you build. (Seriously why is this like this?)
8/10 #quickreviews
Here is a hot take im sure is going to upset some people (sorry in advance).
Maybe the video game industry should stop leaning so hard into Hollywood actors and actresses in their games and just use artistic vision to bring characters to life.
Bring those budgets down, make characters as attractive or unattractive as you like.
Ok what about Voice?!?!? If you insist on using big name talent for voice, nothing says you have to make the models look like the actors. They are 3D cartoons.
The rush to "realism" hurts more than it helps. Realism in video games has a place, its pretty narrow though (simulations etc)
The rest of it kind of feels off when people complain about artistic integrity in the age of AI while they simultaneously rush to not have any in the first place (real artistic vision).
If you want to make a movie, make a movie - nothing wrong with that.
Otherwise the actor worship in games feels to me like if you are having to heavily lean on that stuff to make your game marketable or appealing you dont have much of a game (Kojima probably only exception here by a very small hairline fracture).
Am I wrong?
@SrcasticGamer Welp thanks for the enlightenment. The game is what the game is though. Still stand by the opinion of the game.
Ok everyone - using my voice here to amplify what @SrcasticGamer Just provided - make your own choices as adults.
