GOP on abortion: We're gonna require waiting periods and enact stricter laws because then nobody will have an abortion.

GOP on guns: Waiting periods and stricter laws won't work because people will just find a way around them.

GOP: Requiring a waiting period to purchase an AR-15 is unconstitutional because we believe in personal liberty.

Also GOP: Forcing women to gestate and give birth against their will should be codified into law.

The @GOP concedes that there’s a “mental health crisis” in America. Wouldn’t #GunControl help protect people until that crisis is over?

Then they can get to work on all the mental health support legislation they admit we need.

Take a proficiency test
Maintain a license
Register your vehicle
Have yearly inspections
Keep insurance

Yet nobody screams "THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE OUR CARS!!!!"
