@scr0sX I kind of doubt that, the couplets were incredibly persistent. They persisted for more than 10 radar scans and could be seen on multiple radars. Thatโs some pretty intense contamination if so
Am I crazy or is this tornado emergency warned storm been producing twins for a hot minute??? The weaker north twin even began to fujiwara around the stronger southern twin.

Chased a tornado warned supercell in Texas today! Despite multiple attempts, the storm failed to produce a tornado and I had to watch Oklahoma go nuts again ๐ญ

I also want to emphasize that day-of observations will always be a stronger tool than any model run. Models can be heavily biased and a true picture of the environment will give you a much better idea of where to position day-of.
Havenโt posted thoughts on a forecast in a while so I thought Iโd share (a thread):
Today presents an incredibly complex forecast with 2 main targets for the southern plains, that being southern Kansas on the triple point and southwestern Oklahoma along the dryline.

This setup is still largely conditional and hinges on there being enough daytime heating and upper level divergence to initiate and maintain supercells. While initially it looked very unlikely, there is a significant trend across the board towards convective initiation.
