The worst thing about Marvel Rivals is the supports. It consitently has the worst designed support character I've seen in a hero shooter and its actively ruining my perception of the entire game
Aiming in Marvel Rivals on a controller always just feel slightly awakward compared to Overwatch, no matter how many hours I play. I cant quite put my finger on why
@SuperHario64 Also to me Raging Bull is basically qualityslop, like a performance of arthouse grit, counterintuitively feels insincere. I get that this is a very unpopular opinion but I do think it's overrated when you take a longer view of film history
I see no reason for him to like this movie outside of the right wing messaging and the whole thing with the actress getting raped on set. Disgusting human being
In a new @SightSoundmag op-ed, Quentin Tarantino says modern cinema inspires “contempt” in him, and he would “rather read a book” than watch most new movies—except for ‘THE RIP’ and ‘HORIZON: AN AMERICAN SAGA’ — CHAPTER 1 and 2,’ which are great.

One of the worst movies I have watched at being a movie. People that think Across the Spiderverse is inconclusive should watch this one. "Nothing ever happens" the movie. Kevin Costner should never direct a movie again
Martin Scorsese has joined a generative AI startup as a partner and advisor.
He adds that he has used AI during pre-production to help with storyboarding — “with this tool, I can share what I’m visualizing more clearly & efficiently to my creative team — the production designer, art designer and cinematographer.”

Finished Mina The Hollower. A masterpiece. This should be talked about in the same vain as other indie classics like Hollow Knight, Undertale and Hades
What impresses me most is how Mina the Hollower feels authentically retro without being “trapped” by nostalgia.
The pixel art, music, UI, and gameplay all evoke that classic era, but the responsiveness and quality-of-life touches make it feel thoroughly modern.
Mina the Hollower is #1 on the Switch 2 eShop (US) and #2 on the Switch eShop (US).
The last indie game to do this well on both Nintendo systems was Hollow Knight Silksong.
