My statement regarding today’s unsealed indictment of Mayor Eric Adams:

[Chris Banks @Vote4ChrisBanks]

While we are all innocent until proven guilty, I have no confidence in the Mayor’s ability to effectively run City government while facing this indictment, and I believe that in the best interest of the City, Mayor Adams must resign.

[Chris Banks @Vote4ChrisBanks]

This evening’s reports of the indictment of Mayor Eric Adams as a follow up to the many raids, device confiscations, and resignations related to those in the orbit of his administration  is a genuinely unfortunate tragedy.

Last week extensive budget cuts to City services were proposed by City Hall. I will always fight to bring adequate resources back to my district! My statement:

[Chris Banks @Vote4ChrisBanks]

I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attacks by Hamas militants against the State of Israel. Israel’s right to defend itself against unprovoked attacks must be supported.

[UFT @UFT]

.@UFT stands w/ public school parents, advocates and @NYCCouncil today in saying NO to proposed education budget cuts. Albany increased funding so @NYCSchools could follow the law & reduce class sizes, & protect classrooms. Why is the city threatening education cuts? Listen here:

I’m running to bring real change & true leadership to Brooklyn’s 42nd Council District. You can help me reach my May 22nd fundraising goal by making a matchable 8:1 contribution ($10 = $90 for New York City residents). No amount is too small. Thank you.

Our community is getting slammed with rent increases & NYC fees. Read my OpEd on https://t.co/ykHjykn4Kb
. Our community is paying over 40% of their income on rent, and expenses on everything from groceries to parking ticket fees continue to skyrocket.

Supporting our @nynurses today as we continue to fight for pay equity. It's sad that we still have to have this fight, but we can't stop until they receive fair wages. Nurses are on the frontline for our communities everyday, not only during pandemics. Pay them their worth!
