Republican Senator John Kennedy asks @StaceyAbrams to give him a list of provisions in Georgiaโs new voter suppression law that she objects to.
Itโs a long list.
Give it a listen:
@skedaddle74 Iโm strong-willed, intense, stubborn, moody. Iโm not a good listener unless Iโm REALLY consciously trying. Auditory info flies in and out of my brain w/out sticking. Sometimes I pick fights to make space to talk about my feelings. Thankfully my partner is my perfect match. ๐
@WitchesFor The problems mostly lie with big factory farms, chemical inputs, mismanagement of ag land, clear cutting, etc...
I care deeply about the environment. I like to look at things from a whole-systems perspective. There arenโt many blanket statements like this Iโd agree with.
@WitchesFor Thereโs a lot of science to show that ruminants and poultry are critical parts of the agricultural ecosystem when managed properly. In fact, they can be essential to the formation of healthy, living soils and healthy plant food crops. Healthy soils sequester carbon, too.
"Cruz's error is not that he was shirking a duty he knew he should have been performing. It's that he couldn't think of any way he could use his power as a U.S. senator to help Texans in need. That's a failure of imagination and of political ideology." https://t.co/F0yxR2JQKd
One of my favorite policies!!
I actually think Ranked Choice Voting may be the only way to break the duopoly and give citizens back their voice in government.
We made over 151,000 calls to senior citizens in Texas tonight. One of our vols talked to a man stranded at home w/out power in Killeen, hadnโt eaten in 2 days, got him a ride to a warming center and a hot meal. Help us reach more people, join us tomorrow: https://t.co/WOLn2HCrm1
Note to businesses:
I plan on boycotting any company that donates to senator who votes to acquit trump for his violent insurrection.
I am not alone
Pass it on
