@Subflyer @SafetyWorkerFR @airlivenet I doubt that. There is a Russian An124 sitting at Toronto Pearson airport because of the restriction. And it’s been sitting for almost 2 years. If what you say is true, that aircraft wouldn’t be sitting at the airport for that long.

2.Aircraft were not allowed to fly out to be returned to the leasing company
3. The leasing company canceled the lease for political reasons not because the airlines didn’t pay.
