EDUCATORS! Whether you are teaching virtually or in-person, some healthy habits during the year:
1) Get enough sleep, 7-8 hrs
2) Exercise
3) Drink lots of water
4) Limit food with processed sugar
5) Meditate
6) Make time for yourself
7) Be kind to others
8) Laugh often
Whether you will be online, in-person, or a hybrid schedule, 2020-21 will be one of the most memorable school-years of your career. Your kids need you. Your colleagues need you. Lean on each other and do the little things to make every day special. YOU CAN DO THIS! #SEL#edchat
@MarneySims@taylor_sims13 Happy happy graduation day to an amazing young lady who stole my heart as her 4th grade teacher!! Taylor, you will change the world, and I can’t wait to watch you do it!! 🎉❤️🎉
Our KG Warrior vision has come to life & the love we have been able to spread is amazing! @gerletti you are never alone & we continue to fight every step of the way with you💗 May these shirts be a reminder of that‼️ (See below if you need ur Warrior shirt)
One reason for teacher burnout is that we don't embrace the team concept. You should not feel like an island. Every teacher doesn't need to create their own lessons, activities, or tests alone. You're not in competition w/colleagues, so SHARE! Team means work smarter not harder.
Expecting students to do things that they aren't developmentally ready for can lead to frustration, manifesting in misbehaviors. We need to bring back being a kid.
