🚨 Quick Update
We have officially submitted a review/appeal request to Google through Search Console and have also checked all relevant information via Google Safe Browsing Site Status. While waiting for Google to review and remove this mistaken warning, we have decided to launch Hydra One directly on our official domain:
🛡️This move to the main domain is intended to avoid potential misinterpretation by automated bots or security warning systems caused by the alpha subdomain prefix, especially as the platform is currently in the testnet phase and includes Web3 flows such as wallet connection, testnet transactions, and WebSocket-based interactions.
🙏 We sincerely apologize for this poor experience.

@adastackio Thanks Bro, please try it out and let us know your feedback. If you have any ideas for an interesting product or game, we'd love to hear them too. My boss is asking for one new game per week 😀
Hydra needs real products, real users, real feedback, real benchmarks and even real failures so we can learn and improve.
That’s what we’re trying to contribute with Hydra One.
Hydra is NOT a Layer 2 for every possible use case.
Hydra is strongest when applications need:
⚡ Low latency
⚡ High-frequency transactions
⚡ Near-zero fees
⚡ Fast settlement
⚡ Verifiable state transitions
That’s why we started building real-time application experiences on Hydra One:
🐉 Hydra Fly: a real-time skill game
🌊 River Cross: a provably fair risk/reward game with cash-out & proof verification
🎁 Hydra Gacha: a reveal/drop primitive focused on transparency & auditability
👉 https://t.co/Khk0rhgq27
These are not the “final use cases” of Hydra.
They are reference implementations to test what really matters: Can users connect a wallet, deposit assets, play, cash out, verify results, and move smoothly between applications?
Hydra One is also our attempt to make managed heads easier to understand and more trustworthy.
Managed heads should mean:
🔍 Transparent operators
📊 Clear system state
🧾 Verifiable proofs
🛡️ Clear risk assumptions
🌉 A visible exit path back to L1
That’s why Hydra Hub and Hydra One Proof Explorer are core parts of the stack.
Our goal is simple:
Move Hydra from “interesting technology”➡️ into a usable ecosystem. @sharan_konerira@v0d1ch@tony_thanh_@haiph_9
Hydra is Cardano’s sharpest weapon in competing with other ecosystems - especially in today’s rapidly growing markets for real time and high frequency applications.
Today, most developers building:
• DeFi
• Gaming
• Prediction Markets
• AI Agent Payments
• Consumer Payment Systems
automatically remove Cardano from their shortlist before even seriously evaluating the technology.
Not because Cardano lacks vision.
But because modern dApps demand highly optimized user experiences:
- Sub-second finality
- Near-zero fees
- High throughput
- Real-time interaction
And this is exactly why Hydra matters.
After nearly two years of researching, building, and experimenting with Hydra alongside my team, I truly believe Hydra is one of the most important technologies for Cardano’s future.
Not because it is “just another scaling solution.”
But because Hydra has the potential to completely redefine what can actually be built on Cardano.
Hydra is not just a TPS story.
Hydra is the key to unlocking entirely new categories of applications for Cardano - applications that are extremely difficult to build competitively on L1 alone.
(We already have a fully functional product currently in testing, and we hope to demonstrate this to the community very soon.) 🙌
That is why I want people to support this proposal from the Hydra team at IOG.
Because this proposal is not simply about funding infrastructure.
It is about creating a real path for Cardano toward:
• A production-ready L2 ecosystem
• Attracting developers
• Expanding consumer-facing applications
• And generating measurable on-chain economic activity
As a builder actively developing on Hydra, I can say this very clearly:
Hydra is entering the stage where builders are beginning to ship real products.
This is an extremely important moment.
If Cardano wants to compete for the next generation of applications, we cannot afford to simply wait for scaling narratives until 2027.
We need real usage, real users, and real feedback loops starting now.
That is why I believe supporting the next phase of Hydra is critically important for the long-term growth of the Cardano ecosystem ! @sharan_konerira
Hydra SDK Update is Live! Version 1.3.0
We’ve just shipped a new version of Hydra SDK — making it even easier to build real-time, high-performance dApps on Cardano ⚡
🔗 https://t.co/4jvkYUvkYA
🔥 What’s new?
• Improved developer experience (DX) for faster integration
• More stable Hydra Head interactions
• Enhanced APIs for building real-time apps & games
• Bug fixes & performance optimizations
💡 Why it matters
Hydra SDK is our mission to turn Hydra from theory → production-ready tooling
So builders can focus on product, not infrastructure.
🧩 Use cases
• Real-time games (🎮)
• DeFi apps with instant settlement
• High-throughput dApps
If you’re building on Cardano, now is the time to explore Hydra. Try it, build with it, and give us feedback!
