YouTube’s deliberate non-compliance leaves us with no choice

Despite the clear and binding Order dated 15.07.2026 passed by the Grievance Appellate Committee in Appeal No. 8321/2026, issued pursuant to the directions of the Hon'ble Delhi High Court dated 03.07.2026 in W.P.(C) 8617/2026, @YouTube has wilfully failed to take down Dhruv Rathee's derogatory video, "Can Hindus Eat BEEF? | Kerala Story 2 EXPOSED."

The GAC had specifically directed that the video be removed within 24 hours, yet it continues to remain publicly accessible, in blatant disregard of a binding statutory order.

The Hon'ble Delhi High Court had expressly granted us the liberty to approach the Court again if any grievance survived.

In view of @YouTube's continued and intentional non-compliance, we are now constrained to seek appropriate directions and further relief before the Hon'ble Delhi High Court. (Application will be filed tomorrow)

Havildar Madan Lal (VrC - Posthumous) was a brave soldier of the Indian Army who played a pivotal role in the capture of Tiger Hill during Operation Vijay (1999 Kargil War).

He was Diwan Garh Village, RS Pura Tehsil.

During the assault on Tiger Hill in the Drass sector, 18 Grenadiers was tasked with capturing key positions at an extreme altitude of over 16,500 feet.

Havildar Madan Lal served as a Section Commander assigned to capture the crucial "Area Top" on the eastern spur of Tiger Hill. Capturing this point was necessary to secure a foothold for the main company attack.

Facing heavy artillery, small arms, and grenade fire, he led his men up steep cliffs using specialized mountaineering equipment. After a strenuous 6-hour climb in extreme conditions, he reached the top and surprised the enemy by attacking from an unexpected direction.

His sudden attack threw the enemy into a panic, forcing them into a retreat. During the heavy firefight, two enemy soldiers were trapped and killed.

Although critically injured during the engagement, Havildar Madan Lal refused to be evacuated and kept fighting to clear the area. His section successfully captured two fortified enemy bunkers (sangars), allowing Indian forces to consolidate control over Tiger Hill Top. He succumbed to his injuries at the age of 38.
