We just crossed over! 🤩
One fun thing we've been tracking is our @github ⭐️ growth relative to @VueFormulate.
We were late to the @vuejs 2 party with VF. This time we're riding the wave of adoption to Vue 3 and also putting in a lot more effort. #Vue

🚫 We got rid of Google Analytics on @useFormKit. Here is why:
1. Privacy — Google Analytics is a trojan horse. They give away analytics in exchange for users being tracked on virtually every website.
🧵...
@useFormKit had to solve an interesting challenge. Our inputs are automatically debounced — so how can we efficiently know when a given set of inputs (forms, repeaters etc) of any depth have all finished their debounced routine? ...🧵
As goes @vuejs, so goes FormKit 💪! Our Beta is now public in parallel with Vue 3 being the default. Check out the new https://t.co/X0womoAk2H and get started building forms in #Vue3 today 🎉!
Are you a @nuxt_js user using Nuxt 3? FormKit just entered public beta and ships with a first-class Nuxt module. 10x your form development in Nuxt. #VueJS

One of our hopes with FormKit is to accelerate the adoption of #vue 3 by strengthening its ecosystem.
Seems like we're on the cusp of this shift, and we're releasing our public Beta the same day Vue 3 becomes the default.
Who's with us? @vuejs@nuxt_js@vuetifyjs
Vue 3 is becoming the new default version Feb 7, 2022.
If you loved Vue Formulate, you'll have an even better experience with FormKit and @vuejs 3. Stay tuned for a @useFormKit Beta release by week's end. Anyone who's been waiting for form solutions for Vue 3 rejoice!
In this tiny @useFormKit vid — so much is done for "free":
- ♿️ accessible markup
- ✅ multiple validation rules
- 🏔 data aggregation of form inputs
- ⛔️ submit prevented on incomplete data
- ➡️ submit button from thin air 👀
- ⭕️ loading indicator with an async submit handler
Developing accessible, flexible forms with proper validation are undoubtedly tough and everyone dreads it. The folks at @wearebraid already put out the best implementation with @VueFormulate, and the new stuff they're doing with @useFormKit are 🔥🔥🔥
📣 We have news! Vue Formulate's next major version, a full rewrite including Vue 3 support, will be called FormKit 🎉 We are looking for Vue Formulate users to be alpha & beta testers at https://t.co/JfoBUgfmMB.
I'm VERY excited about the @VueFormulate rewrite (called FormKit). It is showing excellent performance characteristics — I recently tested a form with 1000 inputs — all inside repeaters, inside a group, and it was smooth as butter. https://t.co/BKm7YOaYN8
📣 #Vue Formulate 2.5.2 is out with:
- 🇭🇺 #Hungarian support, thanks to @kukac7
- ✂A required:trim validation rule option, thanks to @atharva3010
- 🐛 Several bug fixes for repeatable groups
