a nerd in many ways but most notably when it comes to storms and radio frequency. come and join me on the airwaves - helping out on the weekends at @abc27news
Textbook elevated supercell as seen from Harrisburg, PA Wednesday night. Seeing it on our skycam behind the state capitol is something rather special. Gives 2011 vibes @ReedTimmerUSA@spann
Not to mention most people don’t immediately put it in the fridge. I think many people let it sit on the table and/or counter for far too long. No thanks
@jamescrummel leftovers grow dangerous bacteria exponentially each day and most people don’t reheat it to 165°F because they’re lazy and hungry (plus it’s already too dry). So I’m with you. Leftovers are 🤮🤢
@Circa7T7@ryanhallyall No pictures of the aurora exist before 2010? Of course they do. And I bet 100% of them were not taken on the camera in everyone’s pocket in 2025. Such a small fraction of the population had DSLRs. Everyone has iPhones.
@Circa7T7@ryanhallyall Yes. Nobody had iPhones with computational photography in them. Remember, hardly anyone is seeing them with their naked eye. It’s all thanks to long exposure and computational photography
I got on x to say just this. During the last active solar cycle, iPhones didn't exist. Now everyone has a camera capable of long exposure and computational photography. All we had back then was our naked eyes and Myspace. To me, this gives "If a tree falls in the forest..."
It’s a sign of the times when @DenButerbaugh points out that the vehicle has a physical knob for the audio. Make cars great again…bring back the 1990s Lexus style.
Nice to see the new @ChickfilA@jamescrummel but what happened to camping out for the grand opening? I did in Wilkes Barre Oct 2019. Talk about cold, it was in the 30s with a nor’easter but the year of free chicken was worth the sideways rain.
