💦 Water for life in Salamay Idaale!
Through the #SomJR project, @gredosom with support from the @DutchRelief and in collaboration with @OxfamSomali has rehabilitated a vital shallow well in Baidoa,Somalia. From deepening and desilting to installing an AFRIDEV hand pump and proper drainage, the well has been fully upgraded for sustainable use.
The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources SWS contributed to this effort by chlorinating the well, ensuring the water is safe and clean.
Now serving over 500+ households, this well is a vital step toward health, dignity, and water security for the Salamay Idaale community. 🌍 #cleanwater #WaterIsLife #Somalia
