We are the South African section of @ISA_socialists, fighting to replace capitalism with a democratic socialist system.
Only socialism can lead to freedom!
WASP says: no tolerance for fascist intimidation. No surrender to xenophobic reaction. No worker against another worker.
Organise against unemployment. Fight the jobs bloodbath. Build working-class unity against capitalism.
Xenophobia is not a harmless opinion. It is organised reaction and it has consequences.
In this clip from #WeTheNation on @eNCA, WASP member Zaki Mamdoo calls for Zandile Dabula and all those organising and inciting xenophobic pogroms to be held accountable.
They are the ones who have thrown 13 million people into unemployment, gutted public services, closed factories, casualised labour and abandoned whole communities to hunger and despair.
🚩BREAKING! From New Delhi to Montreal and beyond, thousands will take to the streets this #BlackFriday to #MakeAmazonPay for labour abuses, environmental degradation and threats to democracy.
✊Join Us! #MakeAmazonPay
It is a highly organised & structured movement of the working class - fighting for jobs, healthcare, education, housing, universal income - while building new institutions of care and solidarity from below that will confront GBV through the restoration of dignity to all people 💜
Today’s #WomenShutdown#NationalShutdown is a moment characterised by immense revolutionary potential, built on the collective anger, pain and love of all who have been made to endure the scourge of violence against womxn & children in SA. But what comes next? 1/3 🧵
We cannot be satisfied with platitudes nor militarised approaches while the state guts the institutions needed to defend life. Now is the time to build durable and democratic working class organs of struggle across communities, workplaces, townships, campuses and villages. 2/3🧵
Clockwise from top left: Marsha P. Johnson, Leila Khaled, Frida Kahlo, Frances Baard, Rosa Luxemburg and Assata Shakur – Revolutionary women who defied capitalism!
Here, we build the power of the working class & carry forward the struggles of our communities, workers and youth, armed with a revolutionary socialist programme.
We have entered the era of revolution & counter-revolution. The choice before us is clear: organise or be crushed.

Meanwhile, ~1,800 qualified junior doctors sit unemployed while hospitals overflow. Not “foreigners’ fault” - it’s budget choices and a system designed to fail the poor while subsidising private profit.

So yes, mock the ignorance, it is appalling. But let’s not fail to organise against the project behind it: historical amnesia, migrant scapegoating, and protection of monopoly power. Memory is a class struggle terrain.
