It’s Fall Officials Appreciation Week! 👏🏻👏🏻

This week, we’re celebrating the officials who show up, make the calls, and help create a great experience for students every game.

Give an official in your community a BIG thank you this week! #OfficialsAppreciationWeek

Shout out and Thank You to all the Custodians and Maintenance staff in Hazlet. We appreciate you!

I've spent a lot of years around this profession, and if there's one thing I know for certain, it's this: athletic directors don't get enough credit for the weight they carry.

https://t.co/qmTyXXyN4A

You're building schedules at 10pm. You're the first call when a bus breaks down and the last one to leave the gym on a Friday night. You're shaping the experience of every student-athlete who walks through your doors. And most of the time, nobody outside your building even knows your name.

We want to change that.

What is an Athletic Director of Influence?
The Athletic Director of Influence program is an ongoing series from Bound spotlighting ADs across the country who are moving the profession forward — in their schools, their communities, and beyond. These are the leaders other ADs look to. The mentors. The ones who figured out a better way and shared it instead of keeping it to themselves.

Each feature will dig into who they are, how they got here, and what they've built. The profession gets stronger when we tell these stories out loud.

See who's been featured
We're building out a growing who's who of every Athletic Director of Influence, past and present, in one place. @WadaWisconsin @hiada_808 @TIAAA_Ad @GADACOACHES @SDIAAA17 @NDIAAA24 @MN_IAAA @WSSAAA_AD @OiaaaOklahoma @ohioiaaa @IllinoisAD @MIAAAADs @MIAAAMO1 @FIAAA77 @OfficialTHSADA @VIAAA95 @MaineIAAA @Nsiaaa1Nsiaaa @KAAA_KyAD @KIAAAks @AIAAA_online @ArkHSADs @TheLHSADA @AHSAAnow @NYSAAA6 @CASDA_NY @BattlebornADA @MDSADA @IIAAA3 @PAStateADs @VSADA_802 @utahiaaa @SouthCarolinaAD @riiaaa2018 @NCADA1970 @mca_406 @ADsofDAANJ @CADAColorado @CSADAOnline @Idaho_aaa

Jason was named AD of the Year by Jersey Sporting News & recognized by the Shore Conference as Monmouth County's Athletic Director of the Year. He's joining Bound's Scott Garvis live for a 30-minute candid conversation about: Building trust with coaches, parents, and student athletes, before you need it. Catching small issues before they become big ones. Leading change without losing your staff's buy-in. Where an AD's time is best spent & where it isn't.

Long Branch is looking for a fresh start in 2026 with a new Flexbone offense, new coordinators and a revamped lineup as the Green Wave aim to snap a 13-game losing streak and get one of the Shore Conference’s proudest programs back on track. @Scott_Stump @WAVEPRIDE

To all the ADs out there...

You have the most misunderstood job in education. No one knows what you do or understands what you do unless they've done it themselves.

You are appreciated.

I bet most dont even know this is your week 🤣 but I do! #ThankYou
