I needed a night off after last night and tried to not think about the cubs or go on Twitter all night or day and just logged on and had no clue they were even playing right now. This is what this team has done to a 162er I look forward to off days
Does it feel like the NL Central is slipping away from the Cubs?
Ian Happ: "No, I wouldn't say slipping away. Obviously for us, not where we want to be. Didn't want to be looking up at it. The Brewers have played great baseball. They're a good team.
"We have to play better."
@PrazMaster I think my biggest gripe I have with this is Amaya. He has not been solid in the slightest. Every time he challenges a pitch whether it's as a catcher or a hitter it's a low leverage situation and he loses them most of the time. He's also hitting .220 with a .340 slug that's BAD
@CubsCreator I'm a diehard I watch and listen to 162 on the radio but this team hasn't won a series since May 7th and we're getting cake walked by the Rockies so you bet your ass I'm ripping the new love island episode and I don't give a fuck
@CarlsBeef I've just lost hope like what do I have to look forward to? Pete if he keeps it up sure. The occasional Ben brown shove day, I'll take that. But watching this team so far and riding this out through 162 is going to make me clinically depressed
The fact that Rea leads us in innings pitched since 2025 is the only stat that you should need to evaluate what our pitching has been the last two seasons. Like hell of a job from Rea but just not the name you want to see there
