WCG meet up in the Western Ghats!

A weekend that gave us more learning and added strength to continue conservation efforts.

Presence of Draco, Giant squirrels, hump-nosed pit vipers, grey-headed bulbul, Paris peacock and many such made our 2 days absolutely worthwhile!

As part of our ongoing efforts under "Project Commons" we had an opportunity to visit schools in the Mantapa Gram panchayat.
Urbanisation impacts on our commons like lakes, Gomala were discussed. Distributed study materials and charts to support their learnings

People from different walks of life volunteered to engage with 2023-24 Vanya vijnana vihaara. We got together to thank them all through a nature walk... 1/n

capacity building sessions from Karthik sir (Cheif Naturalist) and WCG In-house resource persons.
Through this unique program @WCG catered to 500 students residing around Bannerghatta national park.
