@ChrisMWilliams The new NFL stadium model is in the suburbs with bars, restaurants, hotels & condos. There are multiple examples of this already. Indiana gave it to them. Illinois did not. This is not different than what the Chiefs did when they moved from Missouri to Kansas shortly before.

@MikeyOver1 @bottingly If they built it in NYC, it would be in Queens which is still NYC. There is plenty of room if they choose to build there Only MSG is on Manhattan island. Every other team plays elsewhere there.

@MikeyOver1 This is easy. Soldier Field is owned by the City of Chicago, not the Bears. The new stadium in Indiana will be owned by the Bears. Indiana gave them the opportunity to own where they play. Illinois chose not to.
