This is the Camden branch of the Women's Equality Party - a non-partisan, collaborative force in UK politics. Because equality is better for everyone #WeareWE
WE are proud to announce our candidate Tara Mansfield will be standing for Barnet and Camden's Super Constituency GLA 2020. Tara @tlmans40 is profoundly committed to intersectional feminism and to the idea that diversity in representation is essential for our democracy.
Disgusted at the vile antisemitic graffiti in Camden. Teams are out removing it now & police are investigating this hate crime. We wholeheartedly reject this hate in Camden & our community will together stand for love, hope & light on the last night of Chanukah
Angry? Scared? Hurting? So are we. But WE will carry on fighting to protect women’s rights. Want to join the fight? You can:

WE’ve won this election on our own terms. From tomorrow parties & parliamentarians have the opportunity to do right by women & put their pledges to tackle the causes & consequences of male violence against women into action.

The @WEP_UK has had a brilliant election. After WE announced runs against 5 MPs facing unresolved allegations of violence or harassment, 4 stood down. The 5th is trailing. Our policies have been taken on by other parties. 3 fab candidates have led on anti-violence messages 💚💜
Not one of the five men we stood against has yet been the subject of a proper investigation. So, since parliament was doing nothing, we decided to hold five of the MPs to account at the ballot box. And we won. None of the 5 men WE ran against kept their seat. 💪#GeneralElection
A vote for @gemmaevans172 in Bury South is a vote for decency, integrity and justice. The Women’s Equality Party is the only party that is determined to end abuse - starting with Westminster. Politics is dark at the moment, vote for the light, vote @WEP_UK
The Equal Pay Act is failing women. Many still experience unequal pay. We must end the injustice. This #EqualPayDay we launch #RightToKnow, calling for women to have access to the info they need to know if they're being paid unequally. Sign our petition: https://t.co/e9tq5Ua9Su
In the last two years more than 20 MPs have been accused of committing acts of aggression, harassment or assault against women while in public office. Not one of them have lost their job as an MP.
Welcome to Westminster. It's like a tax haven, but for abuse. #EndAbuse#politics
"We can’t have any faith that these political parties will make a proper commitment to ending violence against women and girls unless they are willing to hold their own representatives to account.” @laidley2020#Westminster#TimesUp#MeToo https://t.co/G482n0Gnd1
To celebrate Black History Month, I’ll be sharing a little something every day to honour black women who’ve blazed a trail, inspired me, made me laugh, made me think, made me smile, moved me, or opened my mind.
First up: the legendary Toni Morrison.

Today represents #equalpayday for Bangladeshi and Pakistani women in the UK.
Yes, it's 2019 and not only are we still fighting for equal pay in gender, we are still fighting for ethnic equal pay!
Stand with us and fight for these women.
