Time for some positive news .@WFC_Baltimore#wfc44 The awards which need to be shipped, are in the mail! A large number of the finalist pins are also being shipped. We still have a few people we are trying to reach, but we are trying.
My World Fantasy Award finalist pin, of the NEW trophy, facilitated by @WFC_Baltimore#wfc44. Thank you!! A pin I can be proud to wear, b/c it's a design our whole field can be proud of.
Today @RealPeterBeagle is visiting the office today to sign copies of THE LAST UNICORN THE LOST JOURNEY and pick up his World Fantasy Award from @WFC_Baltimore for NEW VOICES OF FANTASY. He inspected it briefly and commented, "hm... harmless!"
Our photos are up! Many thanks to Al Bogdan, who captured the spirit of a wonderful convention. You can view the galleries at the below link. #WFC44#WFC2018

If you'd rather read my @WFC_Baltimore Guest of Honor speech — in which I shared what I've learned in 48 years of con-going — than watch it, I've posted the full text here ... keeping in mind I surely made minor deviations as I talked. I hope you enjoy it. https://t.co/0TVyzAYEnT
Reading the notes @WFC_Baltimore attendees scribbled within the leather-bound books the committee placed outside the art show in which anyone could leave messages for the Guests of Honor, and am growing quite verklempt.
Thanks to all for a wonderful 2018 World Fantasy Convention! Congratulations to all the finalists and winners. And see you all next year, at @wfc2019 👋
The winners of the World Fantasy Award TIE for Best Novel are The Changeling by Victor LaValle (Spiegel & Grau) and Jade City by Fonda Lee (Orbit US; Orbit UK) #wfc44
