Let me add a little more nuance. If it’s obvious that someone is going for the head intentionally, get them out. There’s no room in the game for that. But don’t penalize defenders making second contact and hitting the head when the runner is falling if it’s obviously not intended

Targeting shouldn’t automatically be an ejection. Ejecting a player doesn’t prevent the kid getting his head hit. We need to acknowledge that head impacts happen through no fault of defenders and not kick these kids out of games.
