Framing a feature, like this olive tree, can really connect the inside with the outside and create points of interest throughout one’s journey through a home.
Architects thinking: Keeping it real by showing a selection of unedited sketches. These are precious workings out for architects. They never see the light of day, but are an important part of the journey.
We work on a range of projects and its always a privilege to be able to see first-hand the variety of furniture, fixtures and equipment that goes into each project. All individual and project specific. All mainly lovely.

Making a Connection - Old to New.
The axial view from the host buildings hallway into this new kitchen dining space was the key to this proposal upon a Grade 2 Listed building.
The Garden Room to this new build country farmhouse.
The generous proportions are hard to convey, but intentionally connect the space to the beautiful surrounding country gardens. The grass roof, is designed to appear floating, on a seam of glass that wraps around the building.
Within a charming Cotswold village, a Conservation Area, within the grounds of Listed Buildings, every new building, however small, needs careful consideration and a design that maximises its potential.
Inside-outside. In this project, we designed the pool house to sit alongside the Grade 2 home, creating a seamless inside outside connection with the south facing terrace and far-reaching country views. We utilised 2.5m high fully glazed sliding doors, with a flying corner.

This designed extension opens the day living of the house to the lovely gardens. Providing additional space for open plan living, natural light and connected garden views for our clients who were downsizing from their large family home and wished to maximise their new home.
This contemporary city extension is designed to completely open the rear of the house up to the fabulous gardens. Connecting the day living of this busy family home to green space. Maximising contextual opportunities.
Here we have a sketch scheme that endeavours to maximise the existing house for a growing family. The house is located on a lovely size plot and the challenge was to utilise the existing by integrating it into an extended whole house, refurbish, remodel and extend.
Bringing the outside in - This day room design scales up as it embraces the connection to the outside. Where 2.8m high bi fold doors fold back to enable the room to connect to the 25-acre vista. Overhanging roof design provides solar shading.
Lovely Barn Conversion that utilises triple height space for bridging landing and filling it with natural light.
