When you click on one of the 20 tabs of legislation you have open in your browser, wonder why the heck they've defined "Her Majesty" since it's defined in the Interpretation Act, only to realize that THIS IS the Interpretation Act... you know it's been a long week 😅
@sarahhepola Legislative drafting! Crafting laws that are as clear and concise as possible, while taking into account the broader legal architecture, can be a great career option for language lovers.
Had a great morning jaunt along the St Lawrence River. Highly recommend the St Lawrence Marathon for those who love running - and even for those who, like me, mostly hate it.
