Seniors used wholegrain flour to create their flat breads this week and we evaluated the taste, texture and compared what a good one looked like as well as why one went wrong! Good higher order thinking discussion from the seniors !

I LOVE teaching first years. Today we made Apple and cinnamon muffins and linked our learning to The Eatwell Guide, healthy eating, carbohydrates and energy as well as the rubbing in and evenly portioning skills.

December was a great month for rugby and fun at the Murrayfield Wanderers, and cluster schools.

Firstly our Youth Players had a superb time with all their mate playing bowling for their annual youth Xmas party!

Big thanks to @tecoughlin who came in to deliver a nutrition workshop to the @WHECHWB senior group.

They thoroughly enjoyed this experience with lots of learning about all things nutrition and the benefits good nutrition has on performances!

Lastly our S3-4 Boys rugby team @WHECHWB put in another spectacular performance against Boroughmuir high school!

Terrific effort from all involved! With most players only playing their 2-3 game of rugby ever!
