Another day of impressive sights: first up, the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, where General Patton is buried, followed by Cologne Cathedral, the tallest cathedral in Europe! (I have truly never felt shorter in my life, and that is saying something.)
Today was a very moving day in Bastogne, lead by our local guide, Henri, who was 9 years old during the Battle of the Bulge! We got to hear his stories while we visited the Mardasson Memorial and Easy Company’s fox holes in Bois Jacques, overlooking the town of Foy.
Whose birthday is it?! You WILL never guess… and if you’re wrong, we’ll give you a MULLIGAN! 🎂
We enjoyed chicken and fries for our first dinner in Belgium! 🇧🇪 @WHGlobalTravel
This look at the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles doesn’t fully capture beauty and impressive magnitude, but it does beg the question, “who’s the greatest of them all?” 👀 @WHGlobalTravel 🇫🇷
