@RealJamesWoods It’s always been about the census. Counts persons not citizens. Census-> number of representatives -> number of electoral college votes.
@lsferguson A court, however, can only review a law as to its constitutionality and cannot establish law nor infringe on another branch’s Constitutional authority. When a lower court does such, it’s the appeals process that needs to be worked through.
@lsferguson Granted its not in the Constitution per se, but Marbury v Madison established the precedent for judicial review and any law passed to suppress review would be deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court .
