Over the next 5 years, the Ministry of Health and the #BeginningsFund will target:

✅ 21 priority counties

Kenya is stepping up #Ebola preparedness.

Today, WHO joined @MOH_Kenya, @KNPHI_Kenya and partners at a National Ebola Virus Disease Stakeholders Coordination Meeting.

Together, we reviewed Ebola preparedness efforts to date, strengthened coordination, aligned partner support with national priorities, and advanced a unified approach to preparedness and response.

@WHO is supporting preparedness across multiple pillars, including:

🧤 Infection prevention and control
🔬 Laboratory preparedness

👀 Surveillance and early detection
📢 Risk communication, community engagement and infodemic management
🚑 Points of entry preparedness

Final day of the Reproductive Health #SelfCare Training in Nakuru, where knowledge becomes confidence. Healthcare Providers from Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, and Uasin Gishu deepened their skills on often-overlooked issues - from menstrual and adolescent health to gender-based violence and reproductive cancers self-screening. Every lesson strengthened their ability to empower the community with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to take charge of their own health.
Together with @MOH_Kenya, @WHOKenya is investing in health workers who will transform lives long after the training ends.
