We are saddened to hear of the passing of '22 Kingfish infielder, Kevin Bushnell.
Our hearts are with his friends and family in this difficult time. We will remember Kevin's time in Kenosha with a moment of silence on Tuesday night.
Haven’t been able to process this. Kev was such a special soul he elevated everyone around him. He showed so much strength during the toughest part of his life, he is my hero. Now Kev we get to coach together everyday. Sending all my love to the Bushnell family. Love ya Kev.
One of the hardest working guys you’ll ever meet and an even better man. Kev was like a big brother to me my first two years at Benedictine. He showed me what hard work and grit truly mean and I couldn’t have asked for a better role model to learn from. Love you Kev❤️🕊️
Am lucky enough to have gotten to be teammates with Kevin during my year at BenU. Truly the hardest worker and best player I’ve ever played with. Devastated to hear he’s no longer with us. Honored to have gotten to call him a teammate and a friend during our year together. RIP 🌹
The Bulldog family is saddened to hear the passing of former Bulldog Kevin Bushnell. Our deepest condolences goes out to the family and friends of Kevin at this time.
The MSOE Baseball community sends our condolences to the Bushnell Family. Kevin was an absolutely tremendous player and competitor, but above all else a he was a phenomenal human being with a bright future ahead in coaching. He will be missed by many.
Kevin, no words can describe this. Your 10:00 pm alarms for your core sessions, our nightly card sessions, our nightly sports viewing and arguments, you were truly one of a kind.
Until we meet again my friend.
I don’t think I’ll ever meet a more God-fearing, humble, hard working person than Kev. He showed us all what it took to be successful in life day in, day out. Time to break heavens home run record now Kev, until we meet again brotha ❤️
I will forever cherish the friendship I had with Bush. When I was around him, he inspired me to be the best version of myself. The world lost an incredible young man today. Rest in peace Kev. In another life I know we will get another round of bp in. Love you brother ❤️
Kev was such an amazing person and the hardest worker I’ve had the pleasure to be around. He made everyone around him a better person and I’m glad I was able to witness first hand. Love you Kev, rest easy ❤️
You showed me what a real warrior looked like. You showed me what Never Die Easy meant. I never thought I would be saying goodbye this early Kev. I know you’re in paradise right now and I look forward to the day I can join you! Life will never be the same, I love you so much bro.
Im having trouble finding the right words right now. Kevin was like a son to me. He was the hardest worker and just the best person around. He would do anything for anyone. I will miss him so much. Life is too short and simply not fair sometimes. Love you so much Bush.
Each and every day is a gift, don’t ever take one for granted. I can’t express how blessed I am to have called Kevin a friend. I am certainly a better person because of the time I spent with him. So many great memories that will last forever. Love you, Kev.
Today we mourn the loss of Kevin Bushnell ‘18. He lived the values that every coach hopes to teach his players- hardwork, humility, and heart. He worked tirelessly to become the best player & person. He lifted up everyone around him. Our prayers go out to the Bushnell family.
