Howdy partners! Today the Year 11 Moving Image Arts students were busy filming a Western Showdown. All guns blazing, they learned how to use the DSLR cameras, frame their shots appropriately and put into practice their knowledge of camera technique, editing and genre.

The WHS MIA Department were privileged to be joined by past pupil and sound trainee Owen McClure. Owen has worked in the sound department for several blockbuster movies including The Marvels and The School of Good and Evil. WHS students were excited to hear about his experiences.
