Interesting to see a few clubs moving fast to land some of these managers. Mauro Lustrinelli from FC Thun to Union Berlin. Jens Berthel Askou from Motherwell to Toulouse. Maximilian Senft from SV Ried to Karlsruher. A few others on the move already too. In Nuno we trust.
@Hammer_On_X I've put a ton of work into data and video scouting to build out a shortlist of interesting candidates - sort of redundant now, but given the work that went into it, I'm sure I'll do some sort of video in the next few weeks going over the process and the interesting names.
@Liam_Hunter93 Great player, destined for greater things than the Championship though, I think. I've seen links to Porto, which I think would make sense. I think Scandinavia / BeNeLux / DACH is where I'd be focusing a lot of recruitment attention, in addition to EFL players ofc.
So, Nuno stays. Is it the most exciting outcome? No. There's managers across Europe I'd allowed myself to get excited about in the context of a full-on reset. Is Nuno the best available option of those the Board would realistically consider? Almost certainly. Onwards.

@PottsSZN One of my fav players to watch. Just plays the football I like to watch. So technically gifted across 8, 10 and out wide. Think I've talked about him on a few pods. I was worried about his slightness when younger, but feel he's bulked out a bit since. Talented + fun = bit of me.
20 mins that has just underlined how important Taty and Pablo have been. Bit mad to replace them with Todibo and Wilson who regularly fail to keep pace with the game. Easy to play through without them.
Some news: I've written a book about how football has evolved over the last fifteen years or so.
It's called The Spectre of Pep: How Guardiola haunts modern football tactics.
It's out in August and you can pre-order it right now from this link: https://t.co/xoOBxVp3NR

@00sfield@fpl_spencer Many a shoe was ruined - that alley felt never-ending as well. Still preferable to the few times Dad made us cycle (?!) from Walthamstow, mind.
If you left after we went 2-0 down in the 75th, you deserved to miss that comeback. 4.30pm KO on a Sunday afternoon, Bank Holiday tomorrow, the sun's out, and you can't be arsed to get behind the team. Ironically, that last 25 is as loud as I've heard it here in ages. Extra time!
