In 2024, Massachusetts was named the best state to live, the best state for women, the best state to raise a family, and the state with the best schools. For the first time, Massachusetts now has the highest median income in America.
If any other states are curious about how we did it, it's pretty straightforward. We've defended freedom and civil rights, invested in education, stood with workers, expanded healthcare, and encouraged innovation. And it doesn’t hurt that we drink a lot of iced coffee.

Governor's Councilor Eileen R. Duff, in #MarbleheadMA, secured 7,889 votes (58.8%) in her race for Southern Essex District Register of Deeds, while Republican Jonathan Edward Ring received 3,922 votes (29.2%).
We’re hearing that Essex County Clerk Thomas H. Driscoll Jr. was re-elected, extending his tenure since 2000. Facing challengers for the 1st time, he won Marblehead with 8,978 votes (66.3%). Independents Todd Angilly and Doris Rodriguez captured 1,485 &n 1,212 votes respectively.
#MarbleheadMA backed Question 2 to eliminate the MCAS graduation requirement by 6,699 to 6,529 — a 170-vote — margin Question 5 to raise tipped workers’ minimum wage was defeated 8,977 to 4,018.
In #MarbleheadMA, VP Kamala Harris & Gov. Tim Walz received 9,129 votes (67.4%) — former Pres. Trump & Sen. Vance took 3,893 votes (28.7%), according to preliminary numbers. A decisive lead with 13,549 ballots cast out of 17,099 registered voters.
